Wishful Thinking Brewing Company is a brewery, taproom, and kitchen opening in early 2024 in Southside Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide a food and beverage experience that is rooted in quality, flavor, sustainability, and community. Tapster - All Positions Currently Filled, but Always Accepting Resumes!

Seeking an upbeat individual to join our team as a bartender. Previous bartending experience is not required, but always beneficial. Experience within the beer industry is also a plus, and a general interest in beer culture is strongly encouraged! Job responsibilities include:

  • Operate Lukr draft system, serving beer in proper glassware and to established standards

  • Serve non-beer beverages (wine, cocktails, coffee, non-alcoholic drinks) to order

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully to staff and patrons alike

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area

  • Clear bar-top and tables as needed

  • Run food to tables as needed

  • Be the face of the brewery when behind the bar, presenting a warm, hospitable environment

Job Requirements Include:

  • RAMP Server/Seller Certification upon hiring

  • In-house Lukr training upon hiring

  • Safe Bars training upon hiring

  • Previous bartending experience preferred

  • General beer knowledge/interest preferred

  • Physical ability to stand for a full shift, and lift 50+ pounds

  • Ability to work nights & weekends

Job has the ability to be part or full time.

Cook - Full Time & Part Time Position Available - All Positions Currently Filled, but Always Accepting Resumes!

Seeking a creative, culinary-minded individual to operate in a smaller-scale kitchen setting. Small, established menu of pan pizzas and shareable bites. Experience working with pizza dough is a plus, but not required. Job responsibilities include:

  • Assist with pizza prep for weekly service including baking focaccia, making sauce, and prepping toppings

  • Receive incoming orders placed by bar,  preparing dishes to order

  • Operate a variety of commercial kitchen equipment in a safe, professional manner

  • Wash and sanitize dishes utilized in prep and during service in a timely manner 

  • Assist with managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed

  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully to staff and patrons alike

Job Requirements Include:

  • ServSafe License obtained upon hiring

  • Knowledge of food safety practices 

  • Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred

  • Physical ability to stand for a full shift, and lift 50+ pounds

  • Ability to work nights & weekends

Full time role is ~40 hours per week. Part time role is ~20 hours per week.
